It was another great weekend of racing in the PROTOform WCICS racing series! Round 2 of the 8 round series was held in the wine country of Penticton, BC.
TC Stock had the most entries of the weekend with some great competition at all levels. My T4 '15 was hooked up from the start and kept getting faster each round, providing a chance at TQ in every round, while pushing to set new TQ there were a few mistakes made resulting in a 4th place start after 4 rounds of qualifying. After a clean start for the top 4 drivers in the Amain, the top started pulling away, by the 5th lap I got into 3rd place and set my sights on 2nd, it took another 11 laps to catch and pass 2nd place, with 11 laps to go, I set my sights on 1st, by the end, the leader and myself had lapped the field, and the gap between us was down to 4 seconds.
After many close battles all weekend long, a podium was a great result!
